Kingston University Students' Union - KUSU - exists to ensure you have the best possible experience of University, no matter what course you do or which site you study at. We aim to make sure we can fully represent your views and fully involve you in partnership with the University.
KUSU is run by four, full-time, Student Sabbatical Officers, who are your Representatives. They sit on University boards and committees and work with University Departments, with the aim of making your experience here better. The Sabbs are always looking to hear from you and find out what you feel about certain issues, to ensure they can accurately and effectively represent your views.
Supporting the Sabbs are a team of staff who aim to make sure you have a wide variety of opportunities to develop skills and experience, in, over and above your studies. We run Sports clubs, Student Societies, Skills Training and co-ordinate a large number of Volunteering opportunities for you. We also offer free, independent advice, information and support on a range of Academic and Welfare issues you might run into.
KUSU began operating in the 1960's, and since then the student numbers here have risen to around 20,000. Each and every one of you has an opinion on how things are at Kingston University, and we rely on your feedback to let us know what you need from us and what you'd like to see improve here. We aim to put you at the centre of University life and to make sure you graduate having got the most out of your experience at Kingston University.
