As the International Student Officer I am trying hard to reach all of you and to help international students here at Kingston. There are lots of things here at uni that require adjustments or simply reforms. By working actively with other officers, we all try to help each other and communicate effectively. Since it is my first year, I am learning a lot about the Union and how important it is to ensure international students’ identities are preserved and accepted by fellow students. If anyone has issues with Kingston Uni, needs help regarding their studies, or simply feels the need to talk to someone, then I am there to help. As part of my agenda, I am promoting international events to increase student’s participation and stress out the need for a better coach service between the campuses. The most important thing for me is for the international students to feel comfortable and enjoy their time in Kingston.
