Your Full-Time Representatives
Sabbaticals are full time elected representatives who, with help from both student and non-student staff run your Student’s Union.
Sabbs are all students, whether they have just finished their course or are taking a year out. They were elected in University wide elections which took place in March and their sole job is to represent you. Sabbs are there to act as your mouthpiece to communicate with the University on your behalf.
This can be done in many ways such, as campaigning and attending University meetings, but the purpose of all of this is to make sure students’ opinions are at the heart of every decision made, and that the University continues to work in partnership with its students.
Sabbs rely on students you them how they feel. So if you are frustrated with the way your course is run, want better sports facilities, or are unhappy with the experience you are getting for the money you have paid, don't be shy in letting the Sabbs know. Then they can take your feelings to the University and push for change to make your University experience better!
So don’t be afraid to talk to us if you see us around campus. Or if you need help and advice, or just want to be heard, let us know via email, phone or visiting one of us (we are based above Space at the Penryhn road campus) and let us know what affects you. We will do all we can to make your life at Kingston University as rewarding and as much fun as possible.
