
Appealing a Notice to Quit from Halls
If you are issued with a Notice to Quit from halls, you have seven days within which to submit your appeal to the Student Affairs Office. You can only appeal on the following grounds:
Once you have submitted your appeal, you will be contacted by the Student Affairs department to arrange an appointment to discuss your case. At this meeting you can bring a Students’ Union representative.
It is worth discussing your case with one of the Students’ Union advisors or the VP Support if you are submitting an appeal, as we are happy to read over any statements before they are submitted. Please also get in touch with us at the earliest opportunity if you need a representative to accompany you to your appointment.
